Experiences & Perspectives

My experiences outside traditional professional roles have shaped how I approach challenges, connect with people, and understand different perspectives. From conducting research abroad to mentoring through basketball, each has contributed to how I work and who I am.

Global Business Research in France

Six-Week Study Abroad ProgramSummer 2025

During a six-week study abroad program in France, I collaborated on a research project comparing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United States and France. Our research examined high-performance business practices and the triple bottom line framework.

Using SPSS, we analyzed survey data through statistical methods including one-way ANOVA, regression, and R² analysis. From our findings, we developed recommendations aimed at helping businesses in both countries improve their performance.

Reports and final presentation

Throughout the program, we delivered research reports and presentations, culminating in a final presentation to a panel of five French business leaders who provided feedback on our research and recommendations.

Team Impact Leadership Team

Rollins Men's BasketballAugust 2025–Present

As a member of the Team Impact Leadership Team, I help serve as a connection between our basketball program and a child and family matched with our team.

I coordinate opportunities for the child and family to participate in practices, games, and team activities, helping build a meaningful relationship that extends beyond basketball.

Team IMPACT has taught me that the greatest impact often comes from the simplest things: genuine connection, consistent presence, and being someone others can count on.

Youth Basketball Camp Instructor

Texas Christian University (TCU)

I worked as an instructor at TCU youth basketball camps, helping younger athletes develop fundamentals and adapting my instruction to different ages and skill levels. It gave me a chance to mentor younger players, explain concepts clearly, and build leadership skills outside competitive collegiate basketball.

These experiences have taught me to approach unfamiliar situations with an open mind, take ownership of my responsibilities, and recognize the value of learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives.
