Built Through Basketball

Basketball has been one of the most defining influences in my life. From elite youth competition to NCAA Division I and Rollins College, the journey has been about far more than the game itself. It's shaped the way I think, the challenges I embrace, and the person I continue to become.

  1. Stage 1 · High school and youth years

    What it built

Earning places on selective rosters, while keeping up the academic work behind four All-Academic honors, made preparation and commitment part of the routine early on.

    What it built

Division I raised the standard for training, preparation, and academics all at once, and meant adjusting quickly to a higher level of expectation.

  3. Stage 3 · 2023–Present

    Rollins College

    Basketball, academics & leadership

I kept playing at Rollins while finishing my B.A. in Business Management (May 2026) and moving into the Crummer MBA (expected May 2027).

      More about Team Impact

    What it built

A new school meant new coaches, teammates, and systems. Balancing basketball, a degree, and now an MBA, while taking responsibility for people outside my own role on the team, connects my athletic journey to the work I want to do.

What basketball has taught me

In short

Basketball has taught me that confidence is earned long before the moment demands it. That growth often requires taking risks, embracing uncertainty, and trusting yourself when the outcome isn't guaranteed.

More than anything, it's taught me that you can't control every result, but you can control the effort, preparation, and attitude you bring to every opportunity.
